Ruta 32

Route 32 is the major Costa Rican Highway through the Zurqui tunnel and the Brauilo Carrillo National Park, which ties the capital city of San José to Guápiles and the Caribbean seaport cities of Moin, and Limón where the majority of the country's goods are imported and exported by truckload after continuous truckload of everything from bananas to cocoa and coffee.  United Fruit, Del Monte, and Chiquita Banana are but a few of the influences of the area. Pineapple, as you can well imagine is a major item for export as well as lumber and hardwoods.  If you ask somebody to help you find the road to Bella Vista, their directions will have to include this highway as well as many of the most notable sodas where you can get your fill of casados with platano maduro.
