El Rancho

The Rancho is the covered patio area between the caretaker’s quarters and our weekend cabin retreat.  We use it as our all around everything area.  It has a sink, a wood burning barbeque, and electricity.  We have added a coffee pot, a coffee bean grinder, a crock pot, and a hot plate for a fully functional kitchen.

Because the Bella Vista temperatures are always mild, we tend to spend a great deal of time outdoors in our rancho.  Equipped with a telephone, a modem, a router, and a couple of laptop computers, we have sold real estate in California, invested in stocks on Wall Street, tutored statistics over Skype, and submitted scholarly assignments to institutes of higher education, all from the comforts of our Tropical hideaway.

To be able to conduct business from our Rancho with a guitar in our hands while watching the humming birds build their nests is inspiring.
