Los Lagos

A Lago is a lake.  And, Just inside the front gate (El Porton) to Etlingera Farms we are fortunate enough to have two of them.  They are full of Tilapia.

We, at Etlingera Farms support Aquaculture, science, and sustainability.  And, our Tilapia ponds are a testament to our dedication.

Okay, the true story:  These two ponds where here when we moved in.  We have never done anything to them.  There seems to be a never ending supply of fish.  They are not particular.  They eat Tilapia food.  They eat bananas.  They eat algae.  And, they even eat each other.

We don’t eat them.  Our friends fish them for entertainment.  The cats think they are sushi dinner.
